Our Story

Day2Day Camping is the dream project of Manmohan Thakur and Anita Thakur to grow the local Himachali culture and tourism. A few years ago Manmohan was settled and working in a corporate job in Chandigarh. In his heart of hearts, he always missed the Pahadi culture, peace and serenity and thought he would one day return back to Himachal.

One day Manmohan heard about the beauty of the hidden gem, that is Barot somewhere and his curiosity led him to Barot. There was no going back after this point. Manmohan decided to wrap up his whole world in Chandigarh and settle in Barot and start his own camp site. This was the humble beginnings of Day2Day Camping and rest is history!

Founded in 2018 this campsite has won the hearts of many passing passengers and travellers. Hosted many corporate events and small groups over the years and loving every bit of it!
